Education & Experience
As a Registered Professional Counselor (RPC), Paula holds a master's degree in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University and a Certificate in Cross-Cultural Communication from the Intercultural Communications Institute Intensive Summer Program in Portland, Oregon. She earned her bachelor's degree in Women’s Studies from San Francisco State University. Fluent in French and Hebrew, Paula studied languages and literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her international experience is an asset in working with culturally diverse clients both locally and globally.
With over 15 years of career coaching and résumé writing experience, Paula is well networked and consistently informed of the latest labor market, résumé and job search trends. She’s especially excited about emerging green and socially responsible careers. In addition, Paula has extensive experience coaching people living with disabilities in successfully overcoming barriers to employment.
Personal Background
Paula was born in London, UK, but grew up in the U.S. and later lived in France, Europe and Israel for close to a decade. She shares her current home in Albany, California, with her husband, and enjoys spending time with their extended family. Recent adventures include travel to the Philippines, New Zealand and Kenya and the fun of staying in touch with new friends and family via text and e-mail.
Paula practices yoga, enjoys swimming, river rafting, singing and creative writing and is active in community affairs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
